Antique Khotan rugs, Kirgiz rugs and Kazak carpets from northwest China
The Xinjiang (Sinkiang) region is in the far north-west of China, along the Silk Road route. Rugs were made by nomadic groups such as the Kirgiz (Khirgiz or Kyrgyz) people and also in the oasis towns Kashgar and Khotan. We specialize in collectable old rugs in good condition.
This is a small selection of the old Xinjiang rugs that we have in stock, please visit our Beijing store for a wider selection of antique and decorative rugs. Prices on request.
