An oustanding Khotan rug with a design of two peacocks, in excellent condition with good colors. This design is a relatively uncommon one, most Khotan rugs we see featuring auspicious treasures. The rendering is typical of the naive style of Khotanese weavers.
This rug was designed to be hung on the wall. It can be used on the floor as well, but works best (in our opinion) as a work of decorative art on the wall.
